Brigadier General Jack Haley, Commandant, United States (US) Army Ordnance School and the 38th Chief of Ordnance (OD); takes a photo with his culinary coach, Sergeant (SGT) Sarah Deckert, during the 2014 US Army Quartermaster (QM) School Culinary Arts Competition, Commander’s Challenge. This US Army Quartermaster School sponsored competition was held on Fort Lee, VA on 12 Mar 2014, and allowed BG Haley; BG John E. O’Neal Commandant, US Army QM School; Colonel Robert A. Harney, Jr., Commandant, US Army Logistics University; and Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Cynthia B. Howard, Regimental Command Sergeant Major (RCSM), US Army Transportation School to show off their culinary skills, with the assistance of an expert in the culinary arts – much like SGT Deckert.
